This was a performance and installation piece I showed during the exhibition I curated; ‘Studio. Tomorrow. Buy me things like machines’ at ESA Show Space. I sat at the typewriter and wrote several one-act scripts in real-time about people visiting the current exhibition; their interactions with the work/gallery invigilator, and their seemingly private conversations with each other. I then wrote on the blackboard, in larger print, excerpts from these scripts. These conversations may or may not of actually happened.
